Think Small:

The good in being sick at sea, according to Charles Dickens
I lay there, all the day long, quite coolly and contentedly; with no sense of weariness, with no desire to get up, or get better, or take the air; with no curiosity, or care, or regret, of any sort or degree, saving that I think I can remember, in this universal indifference, having a kind of lazy joy—of fiendish delight, if anything so lethargic can be dignified with the title—in the fact of my wife being too ill to talk to me.

Who Wants to Be Foretold the Weather?:

Forecasting short-term weather changes
Stand with your back to the surface wind. Look up at the clouds to see the direction of the upper-altitude wind. If the upper wind is blowing from your left, the weather will most likely deteriorate. If the upper wind is blowing from your right, the weather will most likely improve. If the upper wind is blowing directly toward or away from you, the weather will most likely stay the same.
